POMPANO BEACH, FL--October 12, 2011: Cyclone Power Technologies (Pink Sheets: CYPW), developer of the all-fuel, clean-tech Cyclone Engine, announced today that the Company's President, Christopher Nelson, will be speaking at the upcoming Combined Heat and Power Conference and Trade Show -- known as CHP 2011 -- at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, October 18th at the Westin Galleria Hotel (5060 West Alabama) in Houston, Texas.

CHP 2011 is the only national conference and trade show dedicated solely to cogeneration and waste heat recovery, and will feature Congressman Gene Green (D-TX), an active member of the House Energy and Commerce Committee, as well as Senator Rodney Ellis (D-TX), chair of the Senate Committee on Government Organization. Event sponsors include the U.S. Department of Energy, CAT Financial, and General Electric.

Christopher Nelson, President of Cyclone, commented, "We're extremely honored to be presenting at CHP 2011, alongside major players in this industry. We believe that the Cyclone Engine is an enabling technology for waste heat recovery and CHP solutions -- one that can add considerable value to the development of these important markets. It is our hope that through our attendance at this event and others in the future, we can not only educate industry professionals and government representatives about our unique technology, but also seek strategic partnerships."

CHP, or cogeneration, is the process of using one fuel source for two simultaneous energy outputs -- typically, electricity and heating. The result is substantially increased efficiencies, and reduced fuel consumption and greenhouse gas emissions. However, because heat needs to be consumed on site, scalable and efficient power sources are necessary to drive residential and small commercial CHP applications. Cyclone believes that its clean burning, quiet engines can provide that needed power source.

About Cyclone Power Technologies

Cyclone Power Technologies is the developer of the award-winning Cyclone Engine -- an all-fuel, clean-tech engine with the power and versatility to run everything from waste energy electric generators and solar thermal systems to cars, trucks and locomotives. Invented by company founder and CEO Harry Schoell, the patented Cyclone Engine is an eco-friendly external combustion engine, ingeniously designed to achieve high thermal efficiencies through a compact heat-regenerative process, and to run on virtually any fuel - including bio-diesels, syngas or solar - while emitting fewer greenhouse gases and irritating pollutants into the air. The Cyclone Engine was recognized by Popular Science Magazine as the Invention of the Year for 2008, and was presented with the Society of Automotive Engineers' AEI Tech Award in 2006 and 2008. Additionally, Cyclone was recently named Environmental Business of the Year by the Broward County Environmental Protection Department.
