Southern California Edison to Install Inovex Industries' Ride-On Tire Protection System Line of Tire Balancer-Sealants in Their Fleet

LOS ANGELES--Nov. 11, 2011: Southern California Edison, Inc. (SCE), one of the largest electric utilities in California serving more than 14 million people in a 50,000 square-mile area of central, coastal and Southern California, and Inovex Industries, Inc., the manufacturer of Ride-On Tire Protection System (TPS), the only proven high-speed tire balancer and tire sealant , announce SCE's intention to install Ride-On TPS CHS formula into a test fleet in Alhambra, CA. Ride-On improves vehicle fuel efficiency by (1-3% mpg), and extends tire life by up to 25% all while decreasing downtime associated with flat tires through sealing punctures in the crown area of the tire. Says Farkhan, "People don't realize that it takes 22 gallons of oil to make a single truck tire. Each year in America over 300,000 million tires are put into the ground. If every vehicle used Ride-On that number could be reduced by 25%. That is 75 million less tires going into the ground every year. That's not an insignificant number."
