Ben-Gurion University of the Negev New Charging Stations for Better Place Cars on Campus

BEER-SHEVA, Israel, June 20, 2012 -- Ben-Gurion University of the Negev (BGU)has installed a charging station for electric cars on the University's Marcus Family Campus, provided by the Better Place electric car company in Israel. This is the first of four planned Electric Vehicle (EV) charging stations to be installed in parking lots on the Beer-Sheva campus.

"BGU is a world leader in the research of alternative fuels for vehicles and alternative energy, so it's exciting to be part of Better Place's effort to expand the use of sustainable electric vehicle technology," says Doron Krakow, executive vice president, American Associates, Ben-Gurion University of the Negev.
