Freewheelin's presence at the 2012 Republican National Convention will kick off with a ride through downtown Tampa. A caravan of pedal buses will roll along one of the designated Freewheelin routes. Following the ride, an announcement will be made on the future of the pedal buses and what it means for the city of Tampa. | ||
| 20 Freewheelin pedal buses, or "bus-cycles," will be available for free to convention-goers, Tampa residents and RNC visitors from Sunday, Aug. 26 " Thursday, Aug. 30 as a fun, healthy, green and shaded means of transportation. | |||
