USAA Honors Agero With Strategic Supplier Innovation Award

MEDFORD, MA--Sept. 5, 2012: Agero, one of the leading providers of claims management, roadside assistance, and connected vehicle services, was recently named a recipient of the USAA's Strategic Supplier Innovation Award for their Roadside Connect mobile app technology.

Using GPS technology, Agero's Roadside Connect enables USAA members who have called for roadside assistance to receive up-to-the-minute status, such as the estimated time of arrival to their location, through their mobile devices. At the same time, it allows Agero to proactively manage its nationwide network of 30,000 service providers and monitor dispatch milestones, further improving the member's experience.

"Roadside Connect is a great supplement to USAA's mobile claims technology, where members can also check coverage, report or view the status of an auto or property claim, submit photos, schedule an appraisal through one of USAA's approved repair shops and reserve a rental vehicle," said Ken Rosen, USAA senior vice president of claims services. The USAA Strategic Supplier Innovation Award was established by USAA to recognize suppliers who play a vital role in achieving USAA's strategic mission of providing excellent service to the military community and their families.
