ZETLAND, AUSTRALIA – Feb 12,2013: Audi Australia has launched an exceptional runout campaign for its current generation Audi A3 model range, ahead of the national launch of the next generation A3 Sportback in May 2013.

Not one, but two highly-attractive offers are now available for the current generation Audi A3 range in Australia, including a feature-packed Technik Package and the Audi Advantage $5,000 rebate.

The Technik Package for the Audi A3 Sportback 1.4 TFSI S tronic and 1.8 TFSI S tronic models, plus the Audi Cabriolet 1.8 TFSI S tronic includes Navigation system plus with MMI control logic, Audi Music Interface and Xenon Plus headlights with LED daytime running lights at no cost to the customer, representing a significant value upgrade at no additional cost. (NB. Technik Package was previously available at a very sharp $1,950 MLP)

In addition, the A3 now also benefits from a $5,000 Audi Advantage rebate which is applied at the point of sale, across the entire model range, nationally.

This runout offer means customers can benefit from a whopping $6,950 in applied value across the range.

The company is keen to offer this exceptional value package to customers to ensure that its current model A3 Sportback and Cabriolet retain their high level of resale, according to Kevin Goult, Audi’s General Manager Marketing.

“When the A3 was first launched in 1996, it established the premium compact market and remained a best-seller for the Audi brand. With the third generation soon to be launched, it’s important that we continue to offer a very high customer value with the existing model. It remains a well-performing model in the Audi range and we expect the runout to be highly successful thanks to the exceptional customer value that we are offering across the entire range,” Mr Goult said.

Audi’s popular 1.4 TFSI engine packs a punch at 92 kW, and the 1.8 TFSI is even more potent with 118 kW of power. Both engines represent the best-sellers in the popular A3 range. Mated to the brand’s sporty and smooth S tronic dual-clutch gearbox, both engines offer excellent economy and performance in a premium, concentrated design.

The runout offer on the Audi A3 Sportback and Cabriolet models is available across the range while stocks last.
