Andrew Mallery Appointed Marketing Director For Mercedes-Benz Cars

MILTON KEYNES, UNITED KINGDOM – April 29, 2013: Andrew Mallery has been appointed Marketing Director for Mercedes-Benz Cars, effective from 3 June 2013, taking over from David George who will continue his career with Mercedes-Benz by joining one of its retail partners in the south of England.

In addition to his new role, Andrew will also retain responsibility for Mercedes-Benz World, the brand experience centre at Brooklands, Surrey.

Gary Savage, Managing Director Mercedes-Benz Cars, said: “It’s a great time for Andrew to move into the role of Marketing Director. In his current position as Commercial Operations Director, he’s successfully developed Mercedes-Benz World into a world-class destination for private and corporate visitors as well as overseeing the introduction and expansion of the Mercedes-Benz Driving Academy.

“David George’s expertise has played a major role in the growth of Passenger Car sales and we look forward to him continuing this great work with our retail partner.”

Commenting on his new role, Andrew explained: “It’s a very exciting time to lead the marketing team. Mercedes-Benz is in the middle of the biggest roll-out of new products in our history - and we’re continuing to change the way we market our products and services too. I’ve got a great team of talented marketeers alongside me, and I’m absolutely certain that we’ll create some exceptional work over the coming months and years.”
