Ford Fusion Energi earns top safety rating
The 2013 Ford Fusion Energi has earned the highest-possible Overall Vehicle Score from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. The five-star rating is the U.S. government's top safety rating, determined only after severe testing as part of NHTSA's New Car Assessment Program.

Ford Fusion, Escape accelerate 'super segment' share gains
Driven by strong sales of the all-new Ford Fusion and Escape, Ford's share of the "super segment," comprised of subcompacts, compacts, midsize sedans and small utilities, stands at 13 percent through the first four months of 2013 -- a 2 share point gain over last year.

Ford increases capacity in North America
Ford will add an additional 200,000 units of straight-time capacity this year. In addition, an extra 40,000 units will be produced by idling select plants for only one week during what has been the traditional two-week summer shutdown. This is the second year in a row Ford has taken the action in order to meet strong demand for its products.
