SYDNEY – Sept 25, 2013: Renault’s high-value, attainable and affordable Fluence Sedan is now more luxurious and more technically advanced than ever, thanks to an infusion of new customer friendly features.

The mid-life makeover delivers a sharper look inside and out, and is highlighted by a new front-end treatment. A restyled grille is flanked by new projector headlamps complete with black bezels that offer improved night-time vision. A chrome strip across the rear, and new design 16-inch (Dynamique) and 17-inch (Privilege) alloy wheels complete the picture.

Inside, a new digital dashboard is fitted to all models. A new radio head unit joins new look cloth seats for the Dynamique model. Bluetooth connectivity allows selected mobile phones to stream music directly to the Arkamys 4 speaker, 2 tweeter 3D sound system.

The up-spec Privilege features a new more luxurious leather upholstery, while a new 7-inch full colour touch screen allows access to controls for audio, satellite navigation, communication and in-vehicle systems.

A new assisted parking brake along with rear parking sensors and integrated colour reversing camera with guidance function are also introduced to the Privilege model.

Privilege also gains a new BOSEŽ audio system that authentically replicates live music, having been specially adapted for the acoustics of the Fluence passenger compartment. The system includes a digital amplifier and 9-inch sub-woofer, all controlled through the new colour touch screen.

The much acclaimed Renault Smart Card Key is now completely hands-free allowing all owners to leave the key in their pocket or handbag, and unlock or lock the door by touching the handle. The engine may be started or stopped by a dash-mounted button. A proximity sensor means the driver can simply walk away and the car will lock itself.

All Renault Fluence sedans come with dual front, side and curtain airbags as well as anti-lock brakes, electronic stability control, front fog lights, automatic headlights and wipers, dual zone automatic climate control, and 60/40 split rear seats.

New Metallic Brown replaces Midnight Blue on the 7-strong colour chart.

The 2013 Renault Fluence range remains exceptional value, being priced from $23,143 for the manual transmission Dynamique model (Manufacturer’s List Price). The Dynamique automatic (CVT) adds $2000, while the Privilege CVT auto is $30,298 (Manufacturer’s List price).

Sales of the new Renault Fluence range commence immediately.
