LUTON, England - August 10, 2015: Vauxhall has updated its range of award-winning light commercial vehicles, which will see model year 2016 CV passenger carriers receive a variety of new features.

Brit-built Vivaro Combi with new engine and extended options

Available to order now, the Luton-built Vivaro Combi introduces new turbo-diesel powertrains to model year 2016 iterations.

Priced at £27,094 on-the road, the entry-level 1.6 CDTi (95PS) engine with torque of 260Nm, has a combined consumption of 44.8mpg and emissions of 164g/km CO2 .

The new 1.6 BiTurbo CDTi (125PS), which is priced at £28,060 on-the-road, produces torque of 320Nm, providing enough power for demanding tasks. Fuel consumption on a combined cycle is 49.6mpg while it delivers emissions of 149g/km CO2.

Both engines come with Start/Stop and manual six-speed gearbox and thanks to Vauxhall’s BlueInjection SCR system, they all comply with the Euro 6 emission standard.

The Vivaro is available with new features such as Keyless Open and Start, a tablet holder and an improved IntelliLink infotainment system Navi 50 which also has DAB as standard.

Driver assistance systems and Euro 6 engine for the Movano

The nine-seat Movano Combi and 17-seat Movano Minibus are also available with new 2.3-litre BiTurbo diesel engines. Thanks to Vauxhall’s BlueInjection exhaust after-treatment system, these engines also comply with Euro 6.

The Combi has two Euro 6 engines, the first is a 145PS version with 360Nm of torque. The most powerful engine now delivers 170PS and 380Nm of torque. Both models deliver 42.8mpg and emit 173g/km CO2 with prices starting from £33,448 excluding VAT.

Moving up the range, the 17-seat Movano minibus has also been updated with the Euro 6 compliant 145PS BiTurbo engine.

The new engines come with Start/Stop along with a manual six-speed transmission. The driver assistance package, now available for the Movano, offers comfort and improved safety. This package includes high beam assist, lane departure warning, fog lights and an on-board computer.

“The new, ultra-modern diesel engines increases the efficiency of our multi award-winning van range,” said Steve Bryant, Vauxhall’s Head of Commercial Vehicle Brand. “This and the extended options offer make Vivaro and Movano even more attractive for our customers, who use our vans day-in and day-out to ensure the smooth running of their businesses.”
