Three Rare Vincent Motorcycles from the Bar Hodgson Collection to make their debut at Canada's Prestigious Cobble Beach Concours d'Elegance September 13th.

September 6, 2015: The 2015 Cobble Beach Concours d'Elegance, Canada's premier classic automobile event, will take place at the Cobble Beach Golf Resort Community, September 12 & 13, at Kemble, Ontario, just north of Owen Sound on the shores of Georgian Bay. There are over 20 classes of automobiles that will be on the 18th fairway on Sunday, and, for the first time, the organizers have added motorcycle classes, with the Vincent to be the motorcycle marque of the Concours. The event is open to the public and Sunday at 9:00am will see all entries readied for judging, with the awards presentation beginning at 2:15 pm. Many entrants will be dressed appropriate to the period of their vehicle.

Three Vincents from the Bar Hodgson Collection will be on the green at Cobble Beach. The most famous of all Vincents, - Gunga Din - will be the Feature Motorcycle of the Show. The original 1947 Factory Test/Race Bike, thought dismantled and lost forever, (it is the only one of its kind in the world) was restored in 2009 and has since won many prestigious Concours all over North America. While Gunga Din will be on display only it is expected to be the Star of the Show. Bar's latest Vincent restoration, -The Lost Singapore Lightning- will be unveiled at Cobble Beach, having recently been completed in his workshop. This race bike is a 1951 Black Lightning that raced for many years in Singapore and resurfaced in the 70's after being lost for 25 years. This will be the first time the Black Lightning has run in 40 years. Bar's third entry is the 1955 Vincent Black Prince. A fully enclosed -gentleman's motorcycle, with a futuristic aura, it was the first motorcycle to use fiberglass and only 120 were manufactured before the Vincent factory closed for good in 1955. This bike consistently wins top awards at rallies and concours. Both the Lost Singapore Lightning and the Black Prince will be competing for awards.

There will be 6 other Vincents, from Canada and the US, competing at Cobble Beach, and are there by invitation. All are unique models that emerged from the famous Vincent factory out of Stevenage, Great Britain between 1928 and 1955.

The Cobble Beach Concours d'Elegance main event is on Sunday, September 13th. Information on tickets, accommodations, directions and a complete schedule of events is available at www.cobblebeachconcours.com.
