National Foundation for Teen Safe Driving Announces Four New Board Members

SOUTH AMBOY, NJ -- Sept. 22, 2015: National Foundation for Teen Safe Driving announced today the appointment of four new members to its Board of Directors.

Joining the board are Karrie Carlson, Cheril Hendry, Dana Rodriguez and Allen Susser. "Our new Board members bring an array of talent and expertise to the table," said Roy Bavaro, Executive Director. "Their diverse backgrounds and passion for community will lend insightful perspectives to our Board."

Karrie Carlson has invested over twenty years in the practice, training and instruction of the criminal justice field, spending 12 ½ years as a police officer in the San Diego Police Department. She currently teaches two Administration of Justice (AJ) classes at Murrieta Valley High School, Murrieta, CA, and is the advisor to the school's SADD chapter. Karrie holds a BS in Recreation Administration from San Diego State University and a Masters in Juvenile Justice Management from the University of Nevada, Reno.

Cheril Hendry is CEO and owner of Brandtailers, an advertising and marketing firm headquartered in Irvine, California. Cheril also spent many weeknights as an Adjunct Professor at Chapman University, teaching a variety of undergraduate advertising courses. Cheril holds a BA in Psychology and an MBA, both from California State University Long Beach. She is an active supporter of Skip1.org, a non-profit focused on sustainability for children in third world countries.

After spending over ten years on the floors of the retail automotive business as a Finance Manager, Business Development Manager and Sales Manager, Dana Rodriguez transitioned to the corporate world and became DCH Auto Group's first ever Brand Experience Manager. Today Dana is the Variable Operations Trainer for DCH Auto Group. She is a dedicated professional who takes pride in training people, helping them develop professional skills and realize their potential. Dana holds a BA in Communications from Rutgers University, and is a member of the National Association of Professional Women, and the Greater Monmouth Chamber of Commerce.

Allen Susser, Esq. is a partner in Cohn Lifland Pearlman Herrmann & Knopf LLP, a law firm based in Saddle Brook, New Jersey. His practice focuses primarily on real estate and business transactions, as well as the representation of creditors in commercial and consumer loan debt collections and foreclosure. He is a graduate of Fairleigh Dickinson University and Vermont Law School. Allen is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association and the Passaic County Bar Association, of which he was a member of the Board of Trustees from 1984 to 1987.
