FORT LEE, NJ -- January 20, 2016: Unitronics Systems Inc., the U.S. subsidiary of Unitronics, a leading global provider of industrial automation products, automated warehouses and automated parking solutions, announced the completion of a 373-space Automated Vehicle Storage and Retrieval System ("AVSRS") at a 12-story, 212-unit residential mixed-use ground-up development at 1415 Park Avenue, Hoboken, N.J.

Unitronics' automated parking system provides more parking in less space, enabling high-density storage by eliminating the need for ramps. At 1415 Park, Unitronics was able to condense a 10-story conventional parking garage into four stories, allowing for more rentable and community space.

"Unitronics calls upon decades of experience in the automated solutions industry, bringing an industrial, compact and cost-efficient approach to residential auto parking," said Yair Goldberg, CEO of Unitronics Systems, Inc.

"When we switched to automated we were able to bring everything up above ground, which is huge now because of the new flood regulations, and also get another 32 units,"  David Gabber of Bijou Properties, the developer of 1415 Park Avenue, said in an NJ Biz article. "It definitely made a lot of sense financially."
