DETROIT -- January 20, 2016: Sleek performance coupes and engine revving won’t be the only attraction at this year’s North American International Auto Show (NAIAS).

As part of the NAIAS Family Day, 100 fans won the opportunity to take part in the Priority Health Fitness Walk with Dr. Oz, world-renowned health expert, and WXYZ Channel 7 on Friday, January 22. Winners will get to meet Dr. Oz, receive auto show tickets and take part in the Fitness Walk before the auto show opens to the general public.

Once the auto show begins, Dr. Oz will take the stage to discuss health and wellness with the audience during a question-and-answer session.

“We are thrilled to partner with WXYZ and Dr. Oz to bring healthy fun to this year’s auto show,” said Joan Budden, president and CEO of Priority Health. “We are always looking for new opportunities to connect with the communities we serve and remind everyone just how easy it is to incorporate healthy living in everything you do.”

Full Family Day activities will run from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on January 22 in the Cobo Hall atrium with celebrity appearances from Dr. Oz, Jesse Palmer of Good Morning America and others. Guests will enjoy live music on the atrium stage, family-themed activities, giveaways and a chance to meet on-air personalities from Channel 7 Action News.

Family Day is one of the most highly attended days during the week-long NAIAS with an estimated attendance exceeding 20,000. Priority Health is the premier sponsor for this event.
