The all-new refreshed G70 sports sedan from Genesis, Hyundai's luxury marque, is turning heads with clean enhanced design as well as putting smiles on the faces sporty drivers with a punchy new engine. Couple that with a starting price of 38K and it's no wonder I spent a week explaining it to folks about town asking me, "What is that?"
With a stylish headlight array
And a sun (or moon) roof
Sexy red stitching everywhere
And a good sized trunk with a nice additional feature...
A side netted pocket for unbagged smaller items. Very useful.
The 2022 Sport Prestige trim is powered by a 3.3L V6 turbocharged engine that puts out 365-hp and 376 lb-ft of torque. An 8-speed automatic transmission provides effortless shifts, so that makes a jump from 0 to 60 in just 4.7 seconds and a quarter mile in around 13.1 seconds. On those roads that accommodate sporty driving, dial up the Sport or Sport+ mode that is guaranteed to get your heart pumping - just be sure to pick the right empty road that you're so well acquainted with that you can describe each turn before you get there.
Interior upgrades include a 10.25-inch infotainment touchscreen, leather, a heated steering wheel, dual automatic climate control, and a 12-way power front passenger seat.
Be careful when you test drive the G70 3.3T. It will run away with your heart (but you'll love every minute).
