New Brave Models Offered in Three Distinct Widebody Product Lines for 1998
5 December 1997
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Completely redesigned for 1998, the Brave series serves three distinct roles. The new Brave SE, Brave DL and Brave are all widebody, basement motor home lines with several models available in each line, each providing a convenient pass-through exterior storage compartment. Serving as entry-level Class A products, the all-new Brave SE models are available in 26-, 29- and 31-foot lengths. The Brave DL line includes 31DQ and 33DQ models. The DL models feature upgraded furniture styling, cabinetry and window treatments, as well as other features such as a standard driver's door and special exterior valance paint in silver metallic or cool blue metallic to coordinate with the stylized 1998 exterior graphics. The Brave DL 33DQ also includes an optional slideout couch-bed for increased living area in the front of the vehicle. The Brave line is an affordable full-basement Class A with four models in 30-, 32-, 34-and 35-foot lengths. These four models feature a flush floor interior with no step up into the driving compartment and laminated risers that allow for full pass-through storage and heated storage compartments. The 35WP model also has an available slideout room with couch-bed and dinette. All Brave series models feature a complete galley, living room and large rear bedroom with standard queen-size bed and plenty of room to walk around the bed. A twin bed option is also available on most models. All Braves also feature large wardrobes and roomy baths. The 34WA Brave models even have a full rear wall of storage available in the bedroom. A new Videoman rearview monitor with audio feature is now available on this line for ease of campground parking and for use in heavy traffic. Holding tank compartments on all of the Brave models are heated for use of the motor home on a rear-round basis. The belt-line exterior storage features fully-hinged cargo doors with single handle paddle latches for easy and full access to even large bulky items. You'll stay cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter with the 3 1/4-inch roof that has an 'R' rating factor of 14.62. The roof air conditioner is ducted through the roof with dampening, directional vents to distribute cool air more efficiently and quietly throughout the entire motor home. Dual-pane windows are also available as an option to increase the use of the Brave on a year-round basis. The Brave has a one-piece fiberglass roof, which not only adds structural integrity, it doesn't expand and contract, or tear like rubber membranes and is backed by a 10-year parts and labor warranty. The fiberglass sidewall material is also covered by a 10-year warranty. In addition to the standard 12 month/15,000 mile bumper to bumper warranty, there is a limited warranty on lamination for 3 years/36,000 miles. Every new owner of a 1998 Brave automatically receives a free one-year membership in the Preferred Care Program which provides 24-hour customer assistance and emergency road service throughout the United States and Canada.
