Beginning July 9, Focus on Racing Radio's Billy Edwards, a nationally syndicated radio host whose show is also available on iRACE, will lead the team of six driving two Lincoln Navigators on prototype Michelin sport utility tires in their attempt to break the record set in 1991. iRACE formed a separate partnership with Eli's Gold Cup Fantasy Racing League to be racing's online source for the premier fantasy racing league. Through iRACE, online users will be able to sign up for the league through July 20. Lincoln Navigator Trans-America Challenge iRACE will provide daily reports from participants in the Lincoln Navigator Trans-America Challenge, a two-truck endurance event starting in Kittery, Maine and ending in New Buffalo, Michigan. The participants' reports will include: personal stories and highlights, the day's events, the caravan's location, the "stink index" inside each vehicle and chat sessions from the road. Car and Driver magazine will profile the entire experience in a fall issue. "Eli's Gold Cup Fantasy Racing" League iRACE has also partnered with "Eli's Gold Cup Fantasy Racing" league to bring fans closer to the action of NASCAR Winston Cup Racing by becoming a virtual team owner. Through July 20, users who become Eli's Gold Cup members have special privileges no other fantasy game offers, including: personalized team profiles and a report of the top twenty finishers for each race as well as current team balance, points and ranking.
