Ford Division Sponsors the UniverSoul Circus

DETROIT, Sept. 10 -- Ford Motor Company is
sponsoring the UniverSoul Circus, an African-American troupe, September 12
through October 5 at Detroit's Chene Park.
The circus has entertained thousands of children and adults around the
country with high-flying aerial acts, a unicycle troupe, dancing animals,
clowns and magic acts -- all with a cultural flavor that will delight its
audience.
UniverSoul Circus opened its first show in Atlanta in 1994. Founded by
Cedric Walker, it is the only African American owned and operated circus in
the world.
Ford Division has designated Tuesday, September 16 as "Ford Night."
Detroit-area Ford dealers are offering $5 coupons that can be redeemed at the
Chene Park box office for the 7:30 p.m. show.
"We're very proud to be a sponsor of The UniverSoul Circus," says Darryl
Hazel, General Marketing Manager - Ford Division. "Ford's support will help
provide entertainment to people of all ages."
