Ziebart Opens First Store in LubbockInternational Car Care Provider Brings Unique Car Care Concept and Community Service to Region LUBBOCK, Texas, Nov. 5 -- Ziebart International Corporation, the world leader in car care solutions to protect and enhance vehicle appearance and investment value, today officially unveiled its first store in Lubbock at grand opening ceremonies, and announced plans to donate its services to First United Methodist Church and the First Four-Square Gospel Church. The new Ziebart store is located at 4811 West Loop 289 and is owned by Brad Blake. Blake also owns and operates a second Ziebart store located at 714 Avenue E. Ziebart International Corporation, founded in 1959, is the world leader in car care solutions to protect and enhance vehicle appearance and investment value. It is also North America's largest installer of aftermarket accessories. Its "Survival Gear for Cars" is essential to car owners, considering the rising cost of vehicles and the length of time they are kept on the road. In fact, a recent R.L. Polk study showed that the average age of registered vehicles was 9.3 years - a 40-year high. "Lubbock is a tremendous new opportunity for Ziebart," said Mike Riley, regional manager for Ziebart International Corp. "With our experience protecting and enhancing vehicles in extreme climates, Lubbock is a natural choice to introduce the concept of car care solutions to the Southwest. The hot sun and severe Lubbock weather pose dangers to vehicles, and we are best qualified to help Lubbock motorists protect their vehicles, keeping them looking good year after year." "We are excited to welcome Ziebart into the Lubbock market and we commend their community service efforts benefiting First United Methodist Church and First Four-Square Gospel Church," said Mayor Windy Sitton. "I am certain that Lubbock vehicle owners will benefit from Ziebart's products and services for years to come." Ziebart has over 35 years of experience protecting, enhancing and maintaining the interior and exterior of cars and trucks. Its services include: professional detailing services; appearance protection services; rust protection, and accessories, particularly for trucks and vans. Blake cited Ziebart's array of services and accessories as the reason he chose to convert his two existing businesses, Premium Motoring Accessories and Texas Truck and Tint, to Ziebart-franchises. "Ziebart has more than just accessories to offer Lubbock motorists. It's a one-stop-shop for consumers who want to keep their car looking like new, and/or want to preserve their car's structural viability," said Blake. At the ceremony, Blake announced that Ziebart will provide regular maintenance for the two First United Methodist Church buses and the First Four-Square Gospel Church van. The store will routinely power wash, detail and apply protection products to the vehicles. Ziebart operates stores in several Texas communities, including Beaumont, Corpus Christi, Dallas, McAllen, Pasadena and Port Arthur. Ziebart International Corp. was established in 1959 and is headquartered in Troy, Mich. It has franchised approximately 600 stores in 40 countries.
