Westar, Ultradata Announce Agreement to Co-Market In-Vehicle Driver Information SystemST. LOUIS and DALLAS, Dec. 15 -- Ultradata Systems, Inc. and Westar have announced that the two companies will work together to provide a unique travel information system to mass-market consumers. The in-vehicle driver information system will utilize global positioning satellite technology, Ultradata Systems, Inc.'s patented data compression technology for road services and directions, and Westar's live- operator response center. Westar's response center provides the user with the option of emergency, roadside assistance and concierge services. "Safety, security and peace-of-mind are so important to today's travelers. This strategic relationship was specifically formed to support the needs of our customers on the road. Our hardware and software combined with Westar's 24-hour emergency, navigation and information services meets the complete needs of the traveler.
