Federal-Mogul Hosts Clothing Drive Fund Raiser for Big Brothers Big SistersSOUTHFIELD, Mich., April 21 -- Federal-Mogul Corporation is hosting a used clothing drive as a fund raiser April 20-24, 1998, to benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metropolitan Detroit. The community is invited to drop off used clothing donations to Federal-Mogul's World Headquarters located at 26555 Northwestern Highway, at the corner of Northwestern Highway and Lahser, in Southfield. Clothing donations of all sizes, infant to adult, can be brought to Federal-Mogul's lobby between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. All clothing must be clean and packaged in strong boxes or garbage bags. All donations are tax- deductible and receipts are available for all who donate. In September, Federal-Mogul unveiled a partnership plan with Big Brothers Big Sisters promoting the mentoring of youth by employee volunteers. The clothing drive is just one of the ways Big Brothers Big Sisters raises the necessary funds to support the services required to match adult volunteers with children at risk. For more than 90 years, Big Brothers Big Sisters of America has been the preeminent national youth-serving organization, based on a One-To-One(R) relationship between an adult volunteer and a child at risk. Volunteers serving as mentors and role models help children increase their self- confidence, reach their highest potential, and see themselves, often for the first time, as having happy and successful futures. Headquartered in Southfield, Michigan, Federal-Mogul is a global manufacturer of a broad range of non-discretionary parts primarily for automobiles, light trucks, heavy trucks, and farm and construction vehicles.
