Calling All Mustangs: Here Comes the Second Annual Bright Light City Cruise in Las VegasDEARBORN, Mich., Oct. 28 -- West Coast area Mustang enthusiasts will have a chance to showcase their beloved Mustangs at the second annual "Bright Light City Cruise 2," on Sunday, November 1, 1998, at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Over 350 ground-pounding, classic and contemporary Mustangs of all types are invited to participate in the Bright Light City Cruise which begins at 11 a.m. at the Excalibur Hotel & Casino and continues to the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. The event itinerary is as follows: 9-11 a.m. Cruise Registration at Excalibur 11 a.m.-12 p.m. Cruise to Las Vegas Motor Speedway 1-5 p.m. Mustang Car Show at Las Vegas Motor Speedway 4:30-5 p.m. Grand Prize Drawing for 1999 Ford Mustang Several legendary drivers including Carroll Shelby and Bob Bondurant will sign autographs and participate in a lively Fan Question & Answer session emceed by automotive historian Top Hat John. The event will also feature several prize giveaways, including a two year lease on a 1999 Ford Mustang, production vehicle and car club displays, and pit crew demonstrations, along with other exciting attractions. Sponsors of the cruise include Ford Motor Company, BASF Automotive, Saleen Autosport, Roush Racing, Friendly Ford of Las Vegas, BF Goodwrench, and Crane Technologies. The Bright Light City Cruise 2 is a benefit to support the Mustang Museum, Inc. which is a non-profit organization with representation from over 65,000 Mustang Club members worldwide dedicated to creating a museum for the American automotive icon, the Ford Mustang. Admission tickets can be purchased for $5 at the LVMS. Advanced raffle ticket sales may be purchased at the Excalibur Hotel and Friendly Ford of Las Vegas as well as on-site Sunday.
