AAA's Snow Report Hotline Opens; Ski and Snowboard Conditions for Northern California, Nevada and Utah


    SAN FRANCISCO--Nov. 9, 1998--The AAA Snow Report Hotline is heating up as the snowy slopes cool down for the 1998-99 winter sports season.
    The hotline features skiing, snowboarding and weather conditions at resorts in northern and central California, Nevada and Utah, and is available 24 hours a day by calling 415/864-6440. The report is updated each morning Monday through Friday, and includes general road conditions.
    "The AAA Snow Report Hotline is a non-commercial service that provides objective and timely reports," said AAA spokesman Paul Moreno. "It also includes information on cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and ice skating."
    AAA's Web site, www.aaa.com, features a list of ski resorts with ticket prices and hotlinks to ski resort Web sites and California road conditions.
