NPI Develops E-Mail Renewal Program for VW Club, Receives 20% ResponsePROVO, Utah, Nov. 16 -- Network Publishing, Inc., (NPI) announced that it recently completed a mass e-mail campaign for Volkswagen of America (VoA). NPI designed and implemented an e-mail program that lowered the cost and simplified the renewal-notification process for VoA's VW Club. Twenty percent of Club members contacted by the new e-mail program renewed their annual membership online. It was the first time the Owner Communications Department tried to do renewal reminders via e-mail, and they were very happy with the results. It appears to be a cost-effective way to renew memberships and save them a lot of time as well. The VW Club is the only club sponsored by Volkswagen of America, Inc. It fosters a close bond between Volkswagen family and friends, and allows members to share knowledge and experiences with other Volkswagen enthusiasts. Members meet for events, receive discounts and enjoy a variety of other benefits. With more than 15,000 active VW Club members in the U.S. and Canada, designing, printing and mailing renewal reminders is a costly process to do each year. That's why Volkswagen approached NPI with the e-mail idea. It was something they wanted to test, and NPI jumped right in, providing excellent turnaround time and positive results. It's clearly an economical way for Volkswagen to contact their owners. VoA plans to work with NPI to expand the project in the future.
