Ohio Casualty Group Joins Intuit's Quicken InsureMarket

    MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif.--Jan. 11, 1999--

    New Carrier To Provide More Real-Time Quotes, Convenient Online
    Purchase Options For Leading Online Auto Insurance Service

    Intuit Inc. announced today that its Quicken InsureMarket(R) service (http://www.insuremarket.com) will feature real-time auto insurance rate quotes and online purchase options for drivers in 24 states from Ohio Casualty Group .

"By offering drivers a true online insurance marketplace where they can complete one form to receive quotes from many different insurers -- with convenient options for completing the transaction and acquiring coverage -- Quicken InsureMarket is providing the most advanced Internet insurance service available."
    By spring of 1999, Ohio Casualty Group expects to offer real-time auto insurance rate quotes and online purchase options through the Quicken InsureMarket site. These services will be available to drivers in 24 states.     Quicken InsureMarket provides real-time auto insurance rate quotes in 25 states, with more than 75 percent of the nation's drivers. Online purchase services are offered in 16 states. Ohio Casualty will allow Quicken InsureMarket to enhance services already offered in a number of states and expand services into several new states.
    Quicken InsureMarket is the leading insurance site on the Internet, with participation from major, national insurance carriers, and the ability to offer real-time rate quotes and online payment options, which can speed the process of buying insurance. The full-service site also features a library of educational material so consumers can learn more about insurance, as well as interactive insurance planning tools and information from independent insurance experts. Visitor traffic at Quicken InsureMarket has expanded rapidly, reaching 4 million unique sessions as of October 31, 1998, which is four times greater than the 1 million sessions for 1997 as a whole.
