CFOs Rate Lexus as Car of Choice Executives Surveyed on Favorite Luxury AutomobilesMENLO PARK, Calif., Jan. 13 -- For commuting to and from work in style, Lexus appears to be the vehicle of choice for the nation's chief financial officers (CFOs), according to a new survey. In a recent poll, one in four CFOs -- 25 percent -- cited Lexus as their favorite luxury automobile. Mercedes and BMW were also popular, garnering 17 percent and 13 percent of the responses, respectively. The survey was developed by RHI Management Resources, North America's largest consulting firm providing senior-level accounting and finance professionals on a project basis. It was conducted by an independent research firm and includes responses from 1,400 CFOs from a stratified random sample of companies with more than 20 employees. CFOs were asked, "Which one of the following luxury cars is your personal favorite?" Their responses: Lexus 25% Mercedes 17% BMW 13% Jaguar 7% Corvette 6% Porsche 5% Ferrari 3% Other 17% Don't know/no answer 7% 100% Some of the other responses given by chief financial officers included Lincoln, Cadillac, Infiniti, Rolls-Royce and Acura.
