Hertz to Be Exclusive Car Rental Sponsor of iVillage.comPARK RIDGE, N.J., Feb. 3 -- Effective immediately, The Hertz Corporation , the world's largest car rental company, announces its two-year, exclusive car rental sponsorship of iVillage.com, the number one women's network online. Together, Hertz and iVillage.com will develop a series of new, online content areas for iVillage's Travel Channel and other iVillage.com channels (parenting, relationships, and career), including a drive vacations section, a "know before you go" section that details Hertz programs and services, and a "special offers" section that will include car rental deals and discounts for iVillage.com members and visitors. Hertz advertisements will also be spotlighted throughout the network allowing iVillage.com visitors to view current Hertz specials that can be booked on hertz.com. Additionally, Hertz and iVillage plan to create custom tailored marketing programs that will effectively meet the needs of Hertz customers and iVillage members.
