Thrifty Car Rental Opens New In-Terminal Location at Oakland Airport

    OAKLAND, Calif., Feb. 17 -- Thrifty Car Rental has signed an
in-terminal concession agreement with Oakland International Airport and will
be serving customers from two counters, one in each airport terminal,
effective immediately.
    To handle the increased business, Thrifty in Oakland is doubling their
rental fleet and adding a significant number of employees.
    Approximately 65% of Thrifty Oakland's customers are business renters,
25% leisure and 10% local Oakland renters.
    Worldwide, Thrifty has in-terminal locations in 61 cities in the U.S. and
is in all major Canadian and Australian airports, in addition to being in the
terminal in most major cities in the Caribbean, and Central and South America
where Thrifty has a presence.
