New Front-Wheel Drive software training program released
26 May 1999
Carley Automotive Software has just released a new Windows-based software training program called Front-Wheel Drive Guide. The program covers the diagnosis and service of front-wheel drive constant velocity joints and shafts. The easy-to-use point and click program begins with a history of FWD, introduces the user to all the various types of CV joints and explains why CV joints are used instead of U-joints, compares the advantages & disadvantages of FWD versus rear-wheel drive, then gets into the technical aspects of diagnosis and repair. There is even a self-test to help prepare for ASE certification. Front-Wheel Drive Guide requires a Windows-compatible personal computer (any version of Windows from 3.1 up through 98 will work), a mouse and color monitor. The price of the program is $40. A free demo version can be downloaded at the Carley Automotive Software website at http://www.carleysoftware.com Questions can be e-mailed to: Lcarley256@aol.com
