"Marketing to Women" Efforts to be Honored
9 June 1999
Targeting the Women's Market... Is Your Message Getting Through? Companies are targeting the lucrative women's market now more than ever, but how good are their advertising and promotional efforts? That's a question that will be answered at the second annual Women's Automotive Communication Awards. Sponsored by the Women's Board (WB), a professional organization of the Car Care Council, the presentations will be made at a reception during AAIW in Las Vegas, November 2, 1999. "These awards are gaining prestige in the industry," says Donna Wagner, CCC Vice President and Director of the WB. "Savvy advertising and PR people know that a win at the Women's Automotive Communications Awards says you're doing something right. It also means good press and often additional business." The competition is open to everyone in the automotive aftermarket industry, from service providers to parts and equipment suppliers. There are 12 entry categories, to include TV and radio commercials, print ads, direct mail pieces, literature, special promotions and public relations events. Entries are judged on either a regional or national level and must have been produced, published or mailed between July 1, 1998 and June 30, 1999.
