Adventure Seekers Go Cross-country
for Polaris Anniversary Celebration

This Saturday, Passionate Polaris customers will be traveling cross-country in a bizarre way to attend the 45th Anniversary of Polaris in Roseau, Minn. Four men from Vancouver, British Columbia will ride 1,500 miles across Canada on special snowmobiles custom-made for pavement driving. Another two-man team from Edmonton, Alberta will travel more than 900 miles to Roseau on an all-terrain vehicle. Victory Motorcycle owners will take their first cross-state tour that takes them from the Polaris corporate office in Minneapolis, Minn. to the Engineering & Engine manufacturing facility in Osceola, Wis. All groups will finish the last leg of their tours by joining an anniversary parade Saturday, June 19, in downtown Roseau. An estimated 15,000 people will join the company's founders, current management, employees, vendors and the local community for the anniversary party. For 45 years, Polaris has made recreational vehicles. This year, the company celebrates its 45th Anniversary in the town where it all started, Roseau, Minn. pop. 2,500). Today, Polaris is the world's largest manufacturer of snowmobiles. They also manufacture all-terrain vehicles, Victory Motorcycles and personal watercraft.
