professionals representing automotive design, automotive media, product design
and automotive engineering.
Winners will be announced on October 19, 1999 at the California
International Auto Show taking place at the Anaheim Convention Center, in
California. The top 20 finalists will remain on display at the California

attend the show and view contest submissions.
"In addition to providing up-and-coming designers with a venue to showcase
their work to industry executives and the public, winners will also be
published in MOTOR TREND Magazine," said Kevin Allen, Executive Director of
the Orange County Automobile Dealers Association. "We are delighted to be
holding such a significant national contest at our Auto Show and hope to
receive hundreds of entries."
