Chula Vista Auto Club Office Opens Full Service Travel Agency
CHULA VISTA, Calif.--Sept. 13, 1999--Members of the Automobile Club of Southern California and the public in the Chula Vista area can now conveniently and easily plan tours and cruises at a new full-service AAA Travel Agency in the Chula Vista Auto Club district office.The AAA Travel Agency provides nearby access to services for all trip planning needs, including: tours and cruises; worldwide and domestic airline reservations and tickets; Amtrak and other rail tickets; hotel and car rental reservations; travelers checks; and international travel services (passport photos; passport, visa and customs information; Mexico automobile insurance, International Driver's Permits, foreign guidebooks and maps). While the AAA Travel Agency serves Auto Club members and the public, exclusive benefits and travel packages are reserved for members.
The Travel Agency is staffed by two experienced travel agents with support from Chula Vista district manager Beth Swanberg and office supervisor Karen Bell. Both have travel agency training.
"Chula Vista was the ninth fastest growing city in the state last year, so we're pleased that our office can now provide this growing community with personalized, world-class travel planning services," said Swanberg. The Chula Vista office also provides auto travel planning, insurance services (auto, homeowners/renters, watercraft, life, mobile home, rental/vacation home, collector car, small business) Auto Club membership services and a bookstore that sells discounted travel books. The office, located at 569 Telegraph Canyon Road, is open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. The Travel Agency has additional hours on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The office telephone number is 619/421-0410.
The Automobile Club of Southern California, the largest affiliate of the AAA, has been serving members since 1900.
