Bikers Dream Announces Launch of New Motorcycle Models for Year 2000

MIRA LOMA, Calif.--Oct. 22, 1999--Bikers Dream announced today the launch of the company's Ultra Cycles product line for the year 2000, including the introduction of two new models.
The new "Fat Pounder 2000" model features an industry first: a super wide, 230 mm rear tire on a super wide rigid frame with a powerful 113 ci motor, great paint and loads of accessories. The company has also redesigned its popular Avenger model for the new millennium with a polished, rubber mounted 113 ci motor, new custom front end, lowered seat height, upgraded paint and more streamlined styling. The company is currently taking orders from dealers for these new models, which are scheduled for production beginning in November.
Herm Rosenman, Chairman and CEO commented, "The prototypes of these two new models have been very well received by dealers and retail customers during the company's past three trade show exhibitions, resulting in a substantial backlog of orders for these hot new models.
"The Fat Pounder model combines the styling and performance of our flagship Ground Pounder with the radical, unconventional attitude of the super wide 230 rear tire and gloss black power train components. The new longer, lower profile of the 2000 Avenger combines the comfort and performance of a rubber mount with unmistakable Ultra styling. Both the Fat Pounder and Avenger exemplify the company's leadership position in heavy-weight cruiser styling and value."
In conjunction with the launch of year 2000 motorcycle models, the Ultra Cycles subsidiary is launching a name change campaign to "Ultra Motorcycle Company". Herm Rosenman commented, "The new name and logo change better reflect the strength of the company's products and market position in the American heavy weight cruiser category. We welcome this change at a pivotal point in our marketing campaign to increase name recognition and brand awareness."
