Livin' La Vida Loca at the Newport Beach Fall Classic Car AuctionNEWPORT BEACH, Calif., Nov. 24 -- The 1965 Ford Mustang seen on tour with one of the world's hottest music celebrities right now -- Ricky Martin -- has been consigned to the Newport Beach Fall Classic Car auction. Barrie Angliss, managing director of the event, says during concerts Martin sings on stage while a video in the background shows the latino-sensation with the vehicle. "The auction is a great opportunity to see the tour car close-up," he says. "In fact, serious fans are going to want to catch the first-ever Ricky Martin Special on CBS November 26th, as well as check out the excitement surrounding the Mustang at our auction." "This is a beautiful, rust-free car," says Angliss. "It's a California original -- it was sold here and has remained in the state since. The best part is that this Mustang has star credentials." The Martin car, along with a number of other celebrity vehicles, will be on the auction block Sunday, November 28 at the Hyatt Newporter Hotel. The Newport Beach auction (November 26 to 28) will showcase over two acres and $10 million worth of outstanding cars and auction entertainment. The sale is a joint production between two venerable companies in the collector car field: RM Classic Cars and Kruse International -- now owned by Ebay. RM Classic Cars, co-owner of the Newport Beach Classic Car Auction, is a multi-faceted automotive firm. Core businesses include auctions, collector car sales, and restorations.
