Thrifty Joins Icelandair Frequent Flyer Program, Offers 500 Miles Per Transaction

    TULSA, Okla., Dec. 20 -- Thrifty Car Rental will warm the
toes of Icelandair's Frequent Flyer Program members by offering 500 miles per
rental transaction at any Thrifty location worldwide, effective Jan. 1, 2000.
    A flight segment is not required in order to earn these miles at Thrifty.
    Icelandair members also have the opportunity to earn miles when they park
at participating Thrifty Car Rental airport locations that offer parking.
Customers can earn 250 miles when they park three times at the same
U.S. Thrifty parking facility within a one-year period.
    "Thrifty welcomes this opportunity to acquaint Icelandair frequent flyers

Car Rental.  "Icelandair, like Thrifty, caters to the value-conscious
