Chicagoland Gears Up for Ford Racing Fan Appreciation Day

    DEARBORN, Mich. - The second annual Ford Racing Fan Appreciation Day, 
sponsored by the Chicagoland Ford Dealers, will be held at Chicago Motor 
Speedway in Cicero, Ill., on Friday, July 28.  Free tickets are available at any 
of the Chicagoland Ford Dealers now through the day of the event.

    Fans will he able to see Ford's CART drivers in action throughout the day.
Among the drivers scheduled to attend are Michael Andretti, Christian
Fittipaldi, Max Papis, Kenny Brack, Adrian Fernandez, Roberto Moreno and
Takuya Kurosawa.

    In addition, fans will be able to see CART show cars and purchase Ford and
individual team merchandise, and participate in interactive racing displays,
featuring video games from GameWorks' Ford Racing Zone.  Also, there will be
on-site giveaways, autograph sessions, children's attractions, and production
and concept vehicle displays.

    Ford Racing Fan Appreciation Day opens race-week festivities preceding the
Target Grand Prix of Chicago Presented by Energizer CART Race at Chicago Motor
Speedway on Sunday, July 30.
