Mace Security International Announces Resignation of Michael Fazio

    MOUNT LAUREL, N.J. - Mace Security International, Inc. today announced that 
Michael Fazio resigned as Vice President of Car Wash Operations by mutual 
agreement to pursue other interests.

    The Company feels that its current on-site and regional management staff
is capable of continuing to effectively operate the day-to-day car wash
operations.  In addition, Mace's executive management staff will become more
involved with the day-to-day car wash operations.

    Mace Security International, Inc. is a provider of car care services,
which owns and operates numerous car washes nationwide.  The Company is also a
leading producer of less lethal defense sprays for the consumer market and a
marketer of consumer safety and security products.
