Thrifty Car Rental Announces Double or Triple Miles With Six Major Airlines And Quadruple Hilton HHonors Partner Bonus Points

    TULSA, Okla. - Thrifty Car Rental announced today it will offer its 
customers double or triple frequent-flyer award miles with six of its airline 
partners from August 15 through November 15, 2000.  In addition, Hilton HHonors 
program members are also eligible for 1,000 partner bonus points during the same 
promotional dates, four times the usual number of points.

    Customers must rent for a minimum of two days with a 14-day maximum to
qualify for the double or triple airline miles award.  For rentals exceeding
14 days, miles will be awarded at the normal level specific to the airline
partner.  Additional details of each program follow:

    TWA Aviators

    Airport-arriving Aviators members who rent from Thrifty worldwide in
conjunction with a TWA flight will earn double miles of 150 miles per rental
day (twice the normal 75) plus a bonus of 750 miles per transaction during the
promotional dates.  Aviators members may also rent from Thrifty airport
locations without an arriving TWA flight and earn double miles of 100 miles
per rental day (twice the normal 50) and receive an additional 750 bonus miles
per transaction during the promotional dates.

    Delta SkyMiles

    Airport-arriving SkyMiles members receive triple miles worldwide
(150 miles per rental day, three times the normal 50 miles per day) when
renting from a Thrifty airport location during the promotional dates.

    United Airlines Mileage Plus, American Airlines AAdvantage, America West
FlightFund and Continental OnePass

    Airport-arriving members of these frequent flyer programs will receive
double miles worldwide of 100 miles per rental day (twice the normal 50), when
renting from a Thrifty airport location during the promotional dates.

    Hilton HHonors

    To get quadruple HHonors partner bonus points, members renting during the
promotional period must show their Thrifty rental agreement or car keys upon
check-in at any HHonors hotel including Conrad International, Doubletree,
Embassy Suites, Hampton Inn, Hampton Inn & Suites, Hilton, Hilton Garden Inn
and Homewood Suites.

    Thrifty also recently announced a new partnership with US Airways.  To
celebrate that relationship, Thrifty is offering US Airways Dividend Miles
members triple miles on car rentals of two rental days or longer worldwide
beginning August 1 through November 15, 2000.  Airport rental customers will
be credited 750 miles per transaction during this promotional period -- triple
the normal 250 miles.
